FDL INTELICOM
Expert Network
Figures don’t lie. FDL turns financial information into useful context.
Some financial questions can be solved by better structure and analysis. Others require professional judgement. The FDL Expert Network is the human layer that can be activated when the scope calls for specialist knowledge.
Structured first. Expert where required.
FDL does not use “expert access” as a substitute for defining the problem. Before a specialist is engaged, we organise the question, relevant information, assumptions, known issues and expected output. This gives the expert a clearer brief and gives the client a more traceable result.
FINANCIAL & ACCOUNTING
Accounting specialists
For defined accounting-process, reporting, close, reconciliation, documentation or accounting-treatment questions within the specialist’s competence and agreed scope.
DECISION SUPPORT
Financial consultants
For planning, financial modelling, cash, profitability, performance analysis, management reporting and business decision support.
SPECIALIST INPUT
Additional professional expertise
Where a case requires a narrower discipline, FDL can coordinate relevant specialist input subject to competence, availability, confidentiality and contractual requirements.
When the network is activated
- the question requires judgement rather than only calculation or formatting;
- a management decision would benefit from an independent professional challenge;
- a financial process or control issue needs specialist review;
- the requested work falls outside the agreed competence of the core FDL delivery scope;
- the client needs a coordinated view across several financial disciplines.
How expert work is governed
Defined scope
The purpose, questions, information set, expected deliverables and responsibility boundary are agreed before specialist work begins.
Need-to-know information
Only information relevant to the agreed task should be shared, subject to applicable confidentiality, data-protection and contractual controls.
Traceable output
Important assumptions, limitations, conclusions and recommendations are documented so management can understand what the advice is based on.
No implied authority
An expert review does not transfer management authority. Decisions and approvals remain with the client unless a specific legal or contractual mandate provides otherwise.
Tax, statutory accounting, payroll, audit, legal or other regulated professional services are undertaken only where the required qualifications, authorisations, engagement terms and applicable-law conditions are satisfied.
